Holiday parties aren't quite what they used to be in the 80s ("room moms" aren't really a thing anymore!). But, we still know how to party! Twice a year, our party planning team takes over the gym with games, activities, and a festive snack. Instead of going to specials class that day, each grade gets to spend that time with us!
This is all planned by an awesome party team, but we need extra volunteers to help on the day of the event! Just show up and we'll show you where we need you. You can volunteer to be there all day, half a day, or for just specific parties.

8:30-9:00 Set Up
9:00-9:45 5th Grade
9:50-10:35 4th Grade
10:40-11:25 3rd Grade
11:50-12:35 Pre-K
12:50-1:35 1st Grade
1:40-2:25 Kindergarten and TK
2:30-3:15 2nd Grade
3:15-3:30 Clean Up
All volunteers over the age of 18 must have a background check completed with the school district. If you haven't done this already, please go to the link below and sign up to volunteer at Daniel Young. (Note that these take up to a week- if you don't do this, or do it too soon to the event date, you may be turned away at the office and not allowed in to volunteer.)
